Proper FA Cup I expect the qualifying rounds throw up results like this quite a lot and we just don't notice.
Happy with that. Personally I still love the FA Cup and had I been in the UK I'd have been there - I've caught Truro, and a wretched defeat at home to Huddersfield in the last decade and I wish we took it a bit more seriously. As for the Havant manager, I get that he is disappointed as I am a big fan of Dartford in non league and the smaller clubs look at games like this as a way to boost the coffers (and maybe nick a wonderful scalp. But Charlton have been serving up rubbish in the FA Cup for a decade, and as Facts and Stats pointed out, our last attendance for the FZ Cup over 10,000 was back in 2009 against Norwich. Sadly yesterday wasn't a lottery win for Havant, although they could have been on for a win if the Jacko machine hdn't rolled into town. Whatever, Havant gave it a good show, all their fans were a credit to teir club (though I guess a lot of them will be back at Fratton Park next home game) and we go into the next round. All in all, a good day out.
Awkward draw but that is the beauty of the cup. Going to non-league grounds.Get through that one and I hope you get the dream draw of Palace at home!!! My team have Harrogate at home. I would love to get WHU in the next round.
. Don't know if we're quite ready for Palace yet. Millwall maybe, at least it would be 0-0 at H/T, all their games are.
