His selection of Baxter today was inspired. The distribution was cracking - set up loads of attacks.

It felt very much like last seasons in terms of performance.
Very enjoyable today in the short term, it shows that the system works, but we faced a team that looked unsettled and lacking in the final third. How odd.

 

I didn't see much of McCann at the end.

We know he can get the better of League one sides, Barnsley looked a league one team, so to win there doesn't change my opinion.
