Burnley draw 1 - 1 at Chelsea. Not the 7 - 0 thrashing we received

He is waiting to see what his mate Michael Bailey has to say in The Athletic.

We drew with Burnley, so we must have had an off day against Chelsea.:1980_boogie_down:

All the more reason not to get relegated. If Newcastle go down, they will have more money available than all of the other 23 Championship teams put together. We are almost certainly talking about only one automatic slot being available next season.

Going to be interesting to see if other teams pick up on Brentford's tactic of "long balls for Max Aarons to jump for". He won one headed duel all game and it was an easy way for Brentford to create pressure.

I thought the Idah sub was going to be an attempt to address it, by having him defend in that area of the pitch, but that didn't materialise. As it was Idah did some great hold-up work and created the opening for what should have been 3-1, but he wasn't used to combat the defensive issue.

Yes I thought the Idah sun was going to push Sargent back to a more right wing position so that he could drop in and help Aarons with the aerial threat

Yes. The gloaters don't seem to have noticed either Paddy Davitt's observation (posted by DH) or Normann's role on the pitch. More concerned with trying to point score than understand the game and Normann's contribution. Pathetic.

I think Aaron's heading ability is one of the reasons why a 'big' team hasn't come in for him.
