Gunners v Hornets. Watford travel to the Emirates stadium on Sunday in a televised game. The Gunners lost their first three, then won three, drew the next two and now have back-to-back wins under their belts. They haven't tasted defeat since August the 28th. They are on a good run and playing well. Muñoz won his first game, lost three on the bounce, won again, drew then lost. That was the end of him, I think more for the performances than the results. CR70 (Thanks whoever wrote this first, I love this nickname for him) got battered by Liverpool, won at Everton and most recently whimpered to a loss at home to Southampton. Can he work enough magic with the squad he has? Will our defence continue to be as fragile as Daryl Janmaat? I never like to read too much into the table until 10 games have passed. Furthermore, I believe CR70 can get more from the players. But, we are not sitting too pretty in all honesty. 16th is not too bad at the moment, though the next games to come are; Man U (h), Foxes (a), Chelski (h), Citeeh (h). We are going to need some very good performances to get much from that run of games, at least Sissoko is talking the talk.. Not losing morale is important when you are battling against the so-called big guns at the wrong end of the table. Hopefully, come December the 5th Watford won't have been too battered and bruised and remain in touch with the other strugglers around the trap door. An unspecified injury - which has also kept him out of the Sweden squad for the international break. Not that he's had much of a look-in for them.
Ref for Sunday is Kevin Friend. We don't have a particulary good time with him in charge - especially in Cup Finals against Man City...
