Ole's days are numbered...I cannot see him as United Manager beyond this season. He has lasted this long because he is the "love child" of someone.
Oh and for brazil. Firmino, fabinho and alisson were all selected. This time that ****e finish on the tuesday night.
Can see Howe being sacked before end of season with Newcastle dangling over relegation zone. guy can’t set up a team to keep a clean sheet if he had maldini and cannavaro at CB in their prime.
All he needs is a run of wins going the other way and the whole picture changes. Imo he got a few streaks at Bournemouth in between some rank runs that just did enough to keep them.up. Which is in the end exactly what rafa did at newcastle. **** team, lousy results then bang win 3 or 4 win a row and they are safe. If Howe can get them going forward and pressure the other **** teams they will cough up results but he needs better than joelinton
Even though they were literally pinned in their defensive 3rd for 50 mins and spent the final few playing against 9 men
I switched it off when I realised there was no var when their keeper got sent off. Joke competition. At one point sanchez was off getting stitched up and spurs were down to 9men and kane would not get back into a defending position but stood on the middle. He then bought two frees and the dumb **** defender fell for it hook line and sinker. On both you could contend kane actually started the foul and then went down. Two yellow in the space for 2 minutes Just as easily vitesse could have scored while the lazy **** stodd watching.
On the whole moral dilemma of the barcodes being bought by the Saudis, I received an email yesterday from a headhunter asking if I'm interested in a job in Saudi working on a large infrastructure project. Big expat salary (tax free) and free accommodation for myself and my family. We're really keen on having a stint at working abroad (Oz or NZ maybe), but i couldn't be tempted to work in Saudi.
Similarly I have turned down these offers on a couple of occasions. If I was single and no kid, maybe, but I don't particularly fancy living in the middle East
I have friends (two families, all 4 adults are teachers) who moved to Qatar last year, plus another mate who works in construction and been in Qatar for years. All their photos look great, but i'm not keen on how they've used close to slave labour workers to build the footy stadiums and infrastructure for the WC. I also got some approaches to work on building the metro there, but couldn't really consider going.
My nephew, with wife and two kids, works in Kuwait and loves it. Initially he was based in Saudi, but they would not let his family in so he moved to Kuwait.
