I've been to bluebird once I think! But not annabels... I'm at an event at a place called the brewery just round the corner from moorgate station and then the following day a meeting/drinks at the ned. We'll have to have a drink if we are both down there at the same time
I walk past Annabels a lot when I'm in London as I usually stay just round the corner. Always wondered how to get in as you need to know somebody so I understand..... ahem...
very very positive. The guest described him as the Turkish Simon Cowell, owns an entertainment tv channel & close links to a Turkish football club - Fernebache I think He thinks Turkish players are very likely to come in but not sure about a Turkish manager. Another caller mentioned a Georgian chap called shota as a likely candidate to come in as the next city manager
Arveladze was a great player for Rangers and was there a good while so language shouldn’t be too much of a barrier. He’s not torn up trees as a manager and would seem a risk been thrown into the Championship but we need new ideas other than McCanns!
Don't know how long it's taking to get visas these days. If he wants Turkish players/manager in this season he might not fancy spending much in Jan, so he's got a problem in the short term!
One of the most lethal strikers out of the former USSR. He played for Rangers IIRC. He'd certainly sort Magennis and Eaves out. And by sort I mean give the boot.
Not sure Şota Arveladze is the answer for Head Coach, his win percentage is only 44% better than Terrys at Championship level
Although his last club in Uzbekistan have won the league 13 out of the 29 seasons it has existed - so I guess his win % there should be decent!
I didn’t learn much from the Burnsy interview. This prospective owner looks like he is a cheerful type. His business is mostly media based and he has strong political connections. I do have reservations about the cultural differences but not as many as if the buyer was a property investor. Hull City is a good fit for a media based investment as it is quite progressive in its output. The fact that it had in house streaming instead of iFollow would be attractive.
