So their plan was floored? And they didn’t really know what they where/are doing? Money doesn’t always talk.
Or a panic button because the plan was poor. The focus as I said from day one should have been about DoF who knows football. They (AS and MG) don’t know football.
Ha maybe. I think it’s going to be ok. But this puts us back to the laughing stock of the PL again. I said rich kids with a lot of money but don’t know how to spend it. I don’t want to be right but I actually think they have ****ed up here. @Roland Deschain Me and there have a right to be cautious about things. And **** mr did I take some abuse over the last couple of days. And I might have been right after all.
@Roy Munson i took some stick over the last couple of days from a lot of people which I feel was unjustified. I feel I was right to be cautious and impatient was not the right word to use. I just hope this news over night is bollocks and he does indeed still come.
Or the clubs 19th 7 points off safety his family didn't fancy it they are going well in The champions league, the players begged him to stay and put training facilities ate a 90s bungalow. It's not all about money unfortunately the clubs in a desperate state. They could employ others but tried to get above our current level. As I said all week the others are in the bag. Theyve just tried to reach for stars they can't quite catch yet. This is were the other options they bagged previously come in good use
Let’s see. I hope they have a plan D. I don’t think this leak will look good. I think we might need relegation to actually resolve it. I am even starting to wonder if getting in a short term manager to take us to the end of the season is the right option. But they have to start on the infrastructure now and a DoF is a must. It’s a much bigger project that any other in world football.
We're now going to here all the slants aimed at the new owners.. They'll totally rule out the fact the target might just not fancy it. It's also unlikely anything they have organised like plans for the training ground. It's only been 3 weeks do there's bound to be several grey areas. Why not just see the plus which is that they came very close to getting a top manager to join a club that looks like going down?
True it might still happen, but I'd not let's see the positive. The media etc will want to laugh and pile at our owners, but the truth is they came very close.
I think it will be on. Last couple of negotiating tactics from Emery. "Villareal want me to stay and see out the remaining 18 months of my £5m a year deal" NUFC "We're offering you 4 years at £10m" "Adios Villareal, Alreet Toon" All welcome Toonai Emery as new manager.
Possibly is still like to see something conclusive Ballegue was crying his eyes out about our takeover, so he might have been too keen to repair its off. Although there's alot of detail mind If he doesn't fancy it **** him
I see one report where he has said this from Football Espana. Every other report is going with what happened at post match press conference saying he was expecting an offer and an official approach. So reading between the lines he's left that presser post 10pm Spanish time, had a long talk with Villareal's players and owners family then own family then got straight on the blower to Ballague to say he's rejecting NUFC - Aye right.
Not to tell anyone I told you so but some get carried away especially yesterday,I had voiced my reservations and now some have egg on their faces,I don't believe anything until I see the new manager holding up a shirt preferably a Newcastle one!
I would imagine journalists were breaking his door down at that time mind. Ballegue had given quite alot of detail. We'll see, but it's looking like the next one on the list
