Great post Luv and sums up my feelings towards the forum. Like you I've never been an internet socialite before this site, I used to read 606 and post occasionally but that was all. I'm actually presently surprised at the relationship between most Liverpool and Utd fans on this site - it's generally good light hearted banter. Personally the way I see it is it doesn't matter what team someone supports because there is no correlation between that and someones personality. There are some great characters on this site and they definitely outweigh the idiots. Although I didn't get to know him that well I would definitely say Skylarker was the best poster and greatest person to ever grace this site, I even heard he gained the highest reputation ever from any Liverpool fan on this site when the rep system was in place - is this true? Also I want MFG (the grumpy bastard) to return. He was ****ing funny with his dry wit.
I have to say I reckon the reason there aren't many active people is because threads so often get derailed by inside jokes, which makes it pointless for newer people to even post in the thread as their post ends up getting ignored in favour of the inside jokes. I just don't see myself coming on here much if threads continue to be derailed by inside jokes. I'm not saying people should JUST converse about football on this forum, just cut down on the inside jokes in nearly every thread. and we might see some fresh faces and also older posers coming back.
A lot of people are guilty of this, me included. I think that we all know each other now and tend to start chatting away. I think this is fine for a quick joke or question but it does derail the thread once you have a whole page off topic. I think we could all sort this out by just being aware and by posting a Get Back On Topic! comment, anyone can do that.

on the subject of puberty.... I accidentally on purpose walked in on my nephews bird getting undressed last night.... she is 6ft mixed race with very good teenage tits.. clearly very nearly had the urge to kill her... thankfully managed to resist.
