And I would agree to some degree, but he is struggling even more with individual mistakes, that have cost us a minimum of 6 points already this season and I would be interested to know exactly how he could improve ODowda, Palmer and Wells when the previous 2 managers failed in that regard???

I will if you will admit for once that individual mistakes and several unreliable players are adding to our problems, which they are.

PS:- English again, I said to a degree, you seem to have missed that very important point.

Well, he's not really given much game time to either Palmer or O'Dowda......maybe he doesn't like them or not part of his setup......while Williams is out, I feel he has too or do what I said and give Wells a go..
Anyway, I keep saying it, we need to defend from the front and high press...Doesn't seem to be part of his agenda by the looks of it..

I agree, we do make individual mistakes, but I also believe performance overall has cost us points.....I think the manager is at fault as much as the players being unreliable

FFS that is utter ****e, how much time did LJ or Holden give Palmer? not as much as Pearson has given him last season and this season. ODowda has been constantly injured since Pearson arrived.

But don't let the facts get in the way of more manlove eh?

Just throwing them in doesn't count IMO......nothing to do with a childish statement as man love....if his tactics are wrong, doesn't matter what players he puts on, it ain't gonna work..
If he continued to play Weimann out right, you'd say he was crap......but by playing him in the right position, changes the outcome and becomes a much better player.......do you not agree?? ....but hey ho...again you know best!!

I know you like to but you cannot have it both ways.

You made a bold statement in an effort to defend LJ and it was a totally inaccurate statement.

It's not about knowing best it's about facts.

I'm hoping that NP has the balls to change his tactics and get the best of what we have........as it stands, I don't believe he is.......
Nothing to do with defending LJ, just pointing out, that we haven't progressed as was the intention and expectation ......we are currently no better, but hopefully that will change

this season started off as likely to be a season like no other... it is certainly proving to be that. Bournemouth un beaten next 3 just lost 3 each 6th is Blackpool on 24 pts and a lot of drawn games amongst a lot of teams results erratic difficult to decide best tactic / formation?
FIRST 15 games last season 483 PTS this season 493 pts... top 4 [ only 3 less top 4 this season to last ] so not a lot in it thats 1/3 of way through............. will Fulham or AFC GET 100 PTS?

The championship has always been relentless, unpredictable and very competitive. But IMO, this season is still unpredictable but with less quality than previous seasons. Which is why I’m even more disappointed with our progress in it.. I expected more, especially with a so say proven manager.

I expected us to be lacking quality but well organised and difficult to break down. I’m not disappointed by our points tally, but I am by our lack of organisation and cohesion. NP has so far disappointed me in his inability to get the best out of the players, both individually, and collectively, if I’m honest.

Johnson and Holden were sacked because of results. As will Pearson if City end up being relegated.
Can't understand why some fans don't see the lack of quality and consistency within our squad
Pep, Jurgen or Conte wouldn't do any better with our lot.

Glad we finally put the awful home form to rest, even if it's only a temporary respite.
I did fear for us when we went 1-0 down

Johnson was sacked because of poor results with this lot, for not enabling us to get into at least the playoffs.
But NP will get sacked with more or less the same players if we get relegated.....
Do you not see how stupid that sounds? <doh>

where have I said Lee is a Saint? Once again your opinion has to be the only one that counts. You carry in deluding yourself that we are better off now than 2 years ago if you want, but I’m not.

For me from the "Out" I would like to have kept Pato, possibly Nagy and possibly try to develop Adelakun..
    As to "in", I like;
    Rob Atkinson
    Matty James
    George Tanner
    Andreas Weimann ( Retained)
    Nathan Baker (Retained)

and there's Simpson, which I'm not sure, what quality he brings.....maybe that will change

Agree on Pato - one that got away imho.
I read somewhere that Nagy wasn’t happy and wanted to leave. We can’t hang onto a player who wants away - they will never play well.

I sort of expected more, bearing in mind some of these players were were in the DH squad that were above mid table untill the wheels came off .. instead of chugging along and maybe getting into top 6 started to try and be clever ... S&D showed we had the abilty over 2 games, although NP was in stands then managed 2 days? before next game .....

we do have some quality, but it is the way it is organised and that is still lacking... some say we held out under pressure to get our first home win ... The stats are not foolproof but do show a pretty reasonable reflection ... we capitulated after about 60 mins started to slowly give ground ..... but for a lucky contact in the dying minute would have sacrificed 2 points .. [ the effort was made, and successful to get to the ball, but could have gone anywhere! ]

He brought in 5... and got rid of a dozen or more ... the rest of the squad was retained. Hindsight points to the fact Nathan was to expensive to keep, unless wages were lessened... no one is perfect but Pato went because lack of playing time should have kept him till at least January!
