Seems like United won the battle but Tottenham won the war.

I'm guessing Paratici getting out of his seat and storming away from pitchside after Cavani's goal, and not returning for the remainder of the match, carries a bit more significance now...

Solskjaer probably thought that winning this game gave him some breathing room.
    It might've done the opposite.
They need to beat Atalanta in their own backyard now or the talking points are obvious.
Then he's got City up next on the weekend.

Will this defeat be seen as the greatest favour that Man utd could have done for our club , only time will tell but bringing the end to Nuno's tenure and possibly extending OGS as manager has to be step in the right direction

He definitely didn't take the training though, as he doesn't have a work permit yet... <whistle>

He's not surviving this spate of games. Even if by some miracle he escapes Atalanta and City with dignity in tact, there's Chelsea and Arsenal immediately after the international break.

If Newcastle get Emery that might unsettle Villarreal though so I suppose he's struck lucky there.

So on the pitch we've been poor, but medically we are having a stormer.
