Though he did recently come out and say at some point it would come back to the club, but I am not sure anyone believes him.
He paid £11m for the ground, far more than it was worth, leaving them debt free (and leaving him with a development site not linked to a heavily in debt football club). I don’t like the bloke, but it was a sensible move commercially.
