We'd have to pay more than most are paying at the top end of the league to lure them here. And even then, would they really give up playing in a top division to come to a side that's sat in the relegation zone of the second tier of English football?
Plus it's cold here. Yes it can get cold across there, but they'll hardly require tights and gloves in the middle of a Turkish winter. Unlike here. Could they do it in Stoke on a cold Tuesday night? File it in the hyper bollox drawer.
There's no doubting how good they are, plus it can get pretty cold in Turkey, particularly in the mountainous regions. The Rize region can get pretty nippy around this time.
I guess we will just have to wait and see, obviously, he thinks he can bring players in from Turkey, if not, then why mention it. As always TWT.
Vs. Minus 4 here. Massive cultural difference as well. Wouldn't work, but might be fun trying. Ps.Name me one Turkish tootballer who has done well here and made a difference.
Average temperature in Hull over winter is 5 degrees. Yes it can drop below zero in Hull, same in Turkey. Soyoncu?

I guess most of the population live in the western side of the country, close to Istanbul. Miles from the mountains which straddle the border between Turkey and Iran and Azerbaijan. That's the Geog lesson over.
One problem that springs to mind, regards recruitment is that to bring any player's of quality into the club in january then city are going to have to pay decent wages probaly more than the current squads on and that in itself may have effect on team moral and bonding and the togetherness when some see other's in the dressing room on alot more than they are.
Currently watching the EFL Highlights show as we were coming up with Turkish players and the commentator mentioned "Kazim-Richards was once a Turkish International" which I found rather funny timing.
