The midfield looks weak again. Not having somebody to play in the middle with Kalvin might end up relegating us.

 

dallas and shakleton should be helping kalvin out so lets see if they do.if we go in front then second half at sometime i would bring forshaw on for his ball retention ability.i see james is at 10 again not convinced by him at all.harrrison needs to start producing some decent ball no secret i have never rated him .

 

i see the reserve goalie from the u23s is on the bench.really hope we do not need him today.

 

5-1-3-1 who else plays this formation.we are playing naaaarich not barcelona or psg.

 

Norwich play 2 up top so we are likely 3-3-3-1.

I'm always nervous when we go to this formation. We never seem to look as fluid.

It will turn to 5-1-3-1 when we defend though.

 

I’m not liking the shape of that in the slightest, James in the middle, Struijk in midfield, I’d have preferred Drameh RB and Shackleton in the middle. I’d be amazed if there isn’t a huge shuffle on the hour mark or before

 

looking at their lot surely has to give us confidence.
But I'm nervous as hell today. Let's show these why we deserve to be in this division more than them.

Last week it was 4-4-2 whilst previously at Southamton it was 3 at the back.

 

Tbf Leeds don’t play with a 10 in the traditional sense. They’re all interchangeable.

 

Dan James didn't play as a ten though...he played as a striker on the last shoulder, similar to Vardy or Micheal Owen.

 

He played there for Swansea at times. I think he will turn out better than Rodrigo at 10 purely because of his willingness to graft and press. My only problem with Rodrigo is that his workrate sometimes leaves a lot to be desired, certainly at 10.

 

Looks like we're playing both Phillips and Struijk as defensive midfielders, a bit like England

 

I'd be shocked and disappointed if that was the shape. I'm fully expecting
