I'd pay our season ticket prices to watch that.

They dropped that a little while ago. El Clasico had 86,422 last week.

You're right Smithy. It seems our Plan A at the moment is waiting for Poch to fail to they sack him and we can rehire him. I love the guy like the older brother I never had and will always remember the times he brought to Spurs, but with the riches now at his disposal he should be waltzing Ligue 1 and at the very least making the CL final.

If he doesn't manage that, I'd have severe reservations in bringing him back as it reinforces the theory that he was the right place at the right time for Spurs, when the perfect crop of youngsters came through with an unusually shrewd recruitment drive while our rivals went through various crises.

In other words: the stars aligned perfectly from 2016-19, but the chances of that happening again are microscopic.

The fact he saw something in Lo Celso and Ndombele is already more than enough cause for concern.

I'd be very worried if we do bring him back.

I wonder if we are witnessing a changing of the guard of sorts on the continent?

Barca are a shadow of the team they should be, as are Juve. Both teams in mountains of debt which won't go away any time soon (although Juve arguably have more saleable assets).

They could both just get shot of most of their squads and wait a season.
Barca's wage bill is ridiculous when you compare it to what it's actually paying for.
£453? How are they paying nearly £200m more than Man City or Chelsea?

Juventus just need to flog a couple of players to Newcastle in January.

League One game on Tuesday night between two teams with a total of 10 league titles between them.

The last of which was in 1936.
Not many countries would have anything like that, though.
One of the interesting things about the English pyramid.

The Leeds player, Raphinia, glides across the pitch and it's like the ball is mesmerised by him.
He really reminds me of Ginola

Gotta give Moyes his dues, he's doing a very good job at West Ham - if he wins that a lot a trophy his reputation will back to where it was pre-United.

They are good to watch but it's very telling that Villa have put up a much better fight against them with 10 men this half than we did with 11.

All their players want the ball, they fight for every loose ball, and they attack with speed and purpose.

They and Moyes deserve all the praise they are getting tbh

It's impressive how Moyes has reinvented himself. if they can keep their best XI fit they are a shoo in for a top 6 finish IMO.

Never understood why he took the United job tbh. Whoever took over from SAF was always gonna crash and burn.
I think West Ham play some lovely football...remember when we did that kind of thing

Just shows what the right tactics, system and coaching can do for a team.

Whilst they've got a few very good players, I'd say a number of their XI are sort of middle of the road ones yet are currently performing at a top six calibre due to how they're set up and trained.

Meanwhile we're making Son, Kane and others look like they should be playing in the Championship.

Moyes should have kept the backroom staff when he came to Utd and delegated a number of tasks to them as SAF had done, so that he could concentrate on coaching and selecting the first team. He should have been given better advice and help about phasing out the older players and bringing in new ones. If you remember the club messed up on transfers during his brief time there - paying more for Fellaini than the amount of his buy-out clause! He wasn't helped as he should have been.
But three Managers' Association Manager of trhe Year awards tells you how highly he's rated within the game.

Surely we haven't fallen so low that Scunthorpe are rivals now. Have we?
