He never put a foot wrong. A bit like a No. 11 batsman having a brilliant average, by being 1 not out
I think he looks a real threat. He’s just maybe trying too hard to get back to scoring ways. Once he gets another goal or two and his confidence grows, he’s gonna be great. On another topic, I think we all need to thank KWP’s arse for blocking that effort on the goal line in the first half.
I just wish some people pointed out that we were going to turn draws into wins at some point and we haven't been playing badly this season. Oh hang on.....
Tbf, the 90 he had on Tuesday night were immense, so he’s probably been marked in that. Which is bollocks, obviously, but also understandable in a way
One thing I will say is the away concourse at Watford is an absolute disgrace. It's so narrow it's probably a good job they weren't serving alcohol otherwise it would be utter carnage.
I was confident of winning as soon as I saw we were in red shorts. We have a great record when we play in red shorts
Ralph said it all, only complaint was that Saints only scored one goal This is going to be a slow burner of a season. There will some good performances, some bad but there will be more good than bad. The frustration will be that the scores won't always match the performances.
Let's face it Guardiola could be looking for a job soon!!??? Also only one goal margin win, that not enough, he needs to go obviously. NOT!!
