They are investors, they can drop us like a hot brick if they don't like what we're doing. I also don't think there's any harm in bringing in someone RIGHT ****ING NOW to get Jones and the Steve's away from the football. I cannot fathom how you think it'll be somehow easier to get relegated, get promoted, then rebuild from exactly this ****ing position two years further down the line.

Nobody is moaning only upset with that ****e today, we all knew that we had 14 games before any players could be brought in but we didn't think we'd see the same team that couldn't win in the previous 10 games every ****ing week, he's not even attempting something new unless he thought picking the worst 11 would get a result, nobody wants relegation just 12 wins for safety!

It also doesn't take a rocket scientist - or even much of a football coach - to see that 5-4-1 would be, as it has been all season, a disaster. That deep lines with immobile CB's and a bunch of League One players like Clark, Ritchie, Lascelles, Hayden and Krafth shouldn't be picked, particularly when each of those has played so abysmally all season. It's also not rocket science to understand two in CM vs Chelsea's 3 would be a clusterfuck. It's also not rocket science to see that Fraser shouldn't be anywhere near the PL. It's also not rocket science to see that long balls to Wilson, with 3 CB's against him, wouldn't work. We desperately need someone new for Brighton. I could take a defeat, if we were trying to do more. But why play 9 at the back and get beat 3-0? I'd rather we try front foot and get beat 3-0 trying. Jones = Bruce.
Brighton had a great result today coming back from 2 down to get a draw, can't see us getting anything next week.
This thread alone is littered with teams that would have beaten Jones' NUFC 3-0 today. He talks about "I know what the crown want to see but we're not there". **** off, Bruce mk.2, we've heard this **** and we're tired of it. Sick and tired. We're the only club not having a go, not trying to win. Just go at teams, for ****s sake, they're all footballers at the end of the day. Brighton have been inspired this season, but if you'd have asked anyone in August which team has a better chance of staying up, everyone would pick ours. Partly that's ignorance, of course, but on paper we're just not 20th. Our wage bill is 12th highest (maybe higher). I dunno, for me what I never understood about Bruce and now don't understand about Jones is setting up a team to get beat 0-1. If any one of us on this forum was lucky enough to spend a day as manager of this club, we'd throw those players out in a 4-3-3 and tell them to go at the opposition, press hard, press high, and get the crowd roaring as a 12th man. Because that's our DNA. We've never been the greatest team, we don't need tiki-taka or triangles or high possession, but what we need is energy, speed, attacking, that's what always set us apart. And Jones/Bruce are supposed to have been there with us on the terraces watching Lee, Ginola, Cole, Beardo, Shearer do exactly that - cut and thrust attacking football. We were **** at defending then - but we're still **** at defending even if you play with 9 at the back, defending isn't in the players who just do that job, it's a mindset. So is attacking. We desperately need to get back to that. I get we're ****. But i'd rather lose 5-2 than 3-0.
Let me know when the lights come on then. There is no reason why we can’t start this revolution now is there. Just wondering why we have to sit and be patient. Just for the record I said weeks ago we needed to start getting some wins (prior to the takeover) and look where we are now. Still without any wins. You do remember why we play football in the first place don’t you. It’s to win. So what is wrong with some of the fans wanting that. And to facilitate that it means we need to change something.
