Like I said at the time when he was appointed, the players must have thought ‘wtf’

He’s never done anything of note as a manager and his appointment smacked of desperation and lack of ambition.

In fairness to Nuno, I thought he did a good job at Wolves. Getting them promoted with ease, a European spot in their 1st season back in the Prem and reaching the quarter-finals of the EL (getting knocked out by the eventual winners in Sevilla) are huge achievements, considering the club he was at. And yes I know the change of ownership/cash injection helped, but it’s still impressive.

The main bone of contention everywhere he’s been is style of play, which ends up alienating players, and that’s why I couldn’t understand you lot appointing him.

It was never the right fit, should never have materialised and, whilst all is not lost, it means you’ve got lots of ground to make up - this was all avoidable.

Most (if not all) Wolves fans I know wanted Nuno gone at the end of last season.

It’s worrying how many can see things that the owners can’t.

Jose was an obvious disaster yet they appointed him. Nuno clearly wasn’t the right fit yet appointed him too

I don’t have any confidence that they will get the next appointment correct either

cant hate the bloke though. He’s just not the right guy.
Even he must be looking around the stadium with “levy out” banners and be thinking “what have I got myself into?”.

we’re a mess. And levy has Nuno and Paratici to hide behind.

We started brightly but as soon as they scored the fight disappeared and the more the game went on the worse we got.

I'm not interested in kicking someone who was set up to be the fall guy for failures higher up, even if his decisions, today, were terrible. Seems to me it's a successful deflection of blame from ENIC and Levy.

Yeah towards the end, because the style of play hadn't evolved and they invested a lot on their team, but you can't deny the job he did overall.

Many Wolves fans said he was their best manager in decades. He achieved a lot with them.

He didn't do well at Valencia or Porto, and is clearly not doing a good job at Spurs, but that doesn't mean he's been terrible everywhere he's been.
