Gary Neville saying United have been better and deserve that? They haven’t done anything! It’s been fairly even not saying we deserve anything either!
There’s not been much in it, but for me, United have looked slightly more threatening on the break and there were periods where they were trying to sustain pressure by winning the ball high up the field. Final ball has let them down more. You could maybe argue they deserve a slender lead.
True but I don’t think normally he’s that bias. But then maybe I’m bias! This match is so ****ing predictable. I put £25 on United to win as this is exactly the type of game Spurs lose. It’s just written in our history.
Despite the scoreline I think that was much better from Spurs. Overall we moved the ball quicker through midfield and that for me is because Ndombele is not in it. As clever as he is he slows the whole thing and again Lol Celso has more energy he just needs to be playing further forward as he is today. Ronaldo has scored a world class goal, that's what he does but I don't think overall we are out of this game at all.
I think we were better v west ham. Not that we have been particularly bad today. It’s small margins and we don’t seem to be getting the run of the green right now.i can’t see us breaking them down this second half at all and could see it being like the Chelsea game sadly
I don't know in all honesty, but he is very good for Argentina, as an attacking midfielder but he never gets to play in that position normally for us so he in my opinion he probably does deserve a chance to play in his preferred position. As for that half of football its just more of the same old ****. Game is already won, as soon as sky mentioned United lack of clean sheets after they scored the writing was on the wall. Tim Sherwoods football was better than Nunos that is a fact
Don't get me wrong, Man Utd haven't exactly been scintillating, but I think they've tried to show a bit more intent. It's been quite mediocre from both teams, if truth be told. However, you didn't have a single attempt on target that half. They had two - 1 of which Lloris had to make a decent save from Fred's long-range effort.
Can't believe Ben allowed Ronaldo to get the ball from behind him. I don't think we had a shot on target?
You are spot on in my opinion, I think they have shaded that half, and that's a 2nd successive half in the league without an effort on target.
I didn't understand why Davies started, and he's been an even bigger disaster than I would have guessed. Tbf, it was a great goal from Man U, and players take balls they should have left for others all the time. But he's shockingly slow and has been a consistent liability. Besides choosing Davies, which is a big besides, I haven't found too much fault with the team and tactics the last four PL games (well, other than Kane starting, maybe, but that's one I can hardly blame on the manager). Spurs had a decent number of good chances this half, and in the first half versus West Ham. But the expensive players simply haven't delivered the final ball or shot. The simple thing to say today is that Man U deserve to lead because there was one moment of quality in the first half, and it was theirs. Otherwise I thought it was a fairly even game. Spurs were a bit better over the course of it, but Man U had one sustained spell where Spurs got panicky, knocking the ball back to Man U when they got a touch, and it led to the Man U goal. Man U never got that desperate...or had reason to. But Son should have scored, and Romero probably would have scored if Davies hadn't taken the ball off his head.
...no attempts on target for the last two halves of games. No goals in the last 4 halves of games. Honestly ... this is beyond boring... reminds me that run of goaless games under bloke in a coat.
