Massengo by far our best player..good finishes by Weimann.. we do look out of sorts at the back, which is worrying..

Starting to get aggressive! hopefully wiemann will get hatrick first city one for yonks and defence will hold ouT. OUR possession has been around 48%, 35 mins was 49% & 45 mins 48% ...
ALL ROUND I would say a better performance...... BUT ... Barnsley are far from a team worthy of being anything other than bottom 6! at the moment .......

Bloody hell, that was a struggle, against a mediocre side.. clearance off the line by Martin was like a goal scored.. wasn’t convincing tbh..
anyway.. at last a result at home, let’s hope we push on from here..

Finally the 3 points we have awaited for so long but the performance to get them was our usual dross and gives me little hope of improvement. Massengo/Bentley MOM's for me as they did their jobs well and as for the rest I shall keep my comments to myself. I have never professed to being a football tactition but surely we need to be more on the front foot rather than the back foot because we seem to allow the opposition to pour all over us and we don't handle that situation very well, and today was no different. Today was for me just a typical boring mindless match in which we showed little prowess or desire and yet took home a valuable 3 points.

For the next match I will turn off the commentary because, unlike them, I don't think we are even close to applying for stardom. Every decision made by the officials did not affect the way we were allowed to play and we were lucky if the truth be known.
