Aye it was both those things. I think one effected the other tbf but it made viewing painful.

I'll probably end up watching the new one but it's not top of my list.

I can't guarantee you'll like it but it's a million times better than Lynch's effort and if you have read the book you will find it sticks very close to the original story.

Villnueve is also a master of this genre. His vision and the way he brings it to the screen is fantastic. Arrival and Blade Runner as example.

    The Beatles. Get back

Peter Jackson's marathon documentary using footage from 1969 shot while the Fab four worked on the Album Let it be.

Absolutely fantastic insight into the groups process. Worth a watch if only for the multiple jamming sessions.

It's a slog though and sometimes feels like Jackson could have edited a few minutes/hours off it but it is, mostly, no holds barred look at a band on the way to total breakdown but still trying to keep it together to make some excellent music.

The famous rooftop gig is a must watch even if you skip the previous 6 hours or so.

    Bruised

Halle Berry stars and directs this Rockyesque, cliché driven fight movie.

Tbh it's not that bad. Big licks to Berry, she's in her 50s and does some serious shifts.

Decent way to spend a hour and a half or however long it lasts. There's some dyke action in there as well that's worth an extra point.

I'd recommend American Rust, if you liked The Mare of Easttown you'll enjoy this, Jeff Daniels is excellent, I read the book about 10 years ago or so but fortunately couldn't remember it, that's what happens when you hit your late 20s!
