I think we need to scale back and look at the bigger issue here.

I presume thats a bit tongue in cheek but there are some right dickheads out there who would love a war, or the thought of one.

They need to sort somefin out before this gets out of hand.

 

The UK government has stated in its own parliament that it's prepared to break an international agreement, so why should it be believed in any dispute.

I don't know which side is in the right on this issue, but I do know that this UK government isn't trustworthy.

 

This trawler is just a prawn in the bigger Brexit row.

 

The big fish news did at least divert a few headlines from relatively meaningless things like the Budget.

 

Didn’t they reduce the cost of a pint by a few pence… that’ll keep the plebs happy

 

It also diverted attention from the OBR report on the negative economic impact of Brexit. Fish is all they have now.

 

Assuming the saving is passed to consumers and not pocketed by any well-known outspoken owners of large pub chains then you could save a small fortune as long as you consume around 100 pints a day.

 

Folk don’t want serious news when we’re at war with France.

 

They reduced the cost of Champagne by rather more.

 

I've not followed the details of the latest fishing row that closely, Strolls, but the French have a little 'previous' when it comes to signing up to EU rules and regulations and then protesting when it doesn't work for them.
