Im over the moon for the lad fulfilling his childhood dream togeather with Embleton who signed as soon as he could aswell. Both of them signed without any haggling (unlike some other youngster i can think of), and have shown how much they want to be a big part of our future. Securing him and Embleton long-term is a fantastic bit of buisness.
Delighted that these two lads (Neil and Embleton) have signed on for the long haul. Add in Cirkin and Huggins and possibly the Gernan lads and Broadhead and the future is looking canny. I still think we might find Alves and Younger are worth persevering with this year, some of the bairns of around 18/19 playing in the U23 matches (Wearne/Harris/Sohna/Taylor/Kachosa/Dyce all look promising as well as some of the younger lads who are apparently outstanding (Jones). Massive change in the 12 months and wouldn’t be surprised to see one or two sold by Eastleigh Massive return to the club either.
Yeah getting him and Embo tied down is great business. I really think Neil will go all the way to the PL. Movement and fluency when on the ball is unbelievable.
To be fair, we don't know there was no haggling, I'm sure there was some otherwise their agents want sacking . The difference is when agents have started haggling under certain previous regimes, we've **** the bed, talked ourselves into a corner, and lost promising players for a pittance. Nowadays it looks like we manage to come to a fair solution which all parties are happy with, in a decent amount of time... What a novelty. And what a difference good owners make!!!
