I don't think there will be any change at all now , when they say McCant has about 3 games to turn it around i think they are referring to him being able to show the new owners which should be more or less in place by then that he can do the job.
As this was first mooted back in May, and this is Hull Daily Mail speculation, we may still be some way off getting new owners. An agreement has been struck in principle, Hull Live understands, but due diligence has yet to take place meaning the deal remains some way off before it can be considered completed and see the Allam family bring an end to their acrimonious relationship with supporters. There also remains various clauses to be ironed out and the full terms of the deal are still being discussed. There remains a willingness from Assem Allam to finally complete a deal for the club he put up for sale in 2014, though after a number of failed deals in the past seven years, there are reasons to be cautious about this deal being completed. Ilicali is understood to not be the only interested party in buying the east Yorkshire club, who currently sit third bottom in the Championship having won promotion last season from League One, but he remains the closest at this stage to making a deal happen. Suggestions that any deal is imminent, it's believed, are wide of the mark at this stage.
What we think and what they think or have been advised or want bears very little relevance now their due diligence on the club and a few others was done before any approach even happened. Due diligence has to be completed but does not mean it is not already ongoing. Steven Toast has already dropped an expected time schedule for it to be hopefully done by.
Anyone abit concerned yet? Been reported done everywhere. But probably only Just over the first hurdle.
I'm concerned that the Allam's have disheartened so many supporters of this club that they can no longer carry any hope it will change.
Any half-decent owner with what is going on at present would come out and at least say negotiations are taking place, but no outcome as yet, but so far progressing in the right direction. But Ehab I am sure is loving it at present, having fans dangling at the end of a line.
