I have no idea what Roman Abramovich has to do with either of Disney or Facebook, but I will take your word for it. I dont watch Disney either, because the MCU has been milked to ****ery (I stopped at End Game), Star Wars has been raped to **** with all kinds of ******ed writing, and I dont watch cartoons cos I aint 9 years old. And Facebook, well, I used it for a little while to chat to family I had in the US, but social media is generally pretty poisonous. I cant tell you though, with utmost certainty, that your boycotting of those two has saved the sum total of 0 lives
Got to stick to them morals. plus I thought you were a Newcastle fan. Either way, someone buying shares in a listed company or buying a club is different. Wonder how many murderers/criminals etc have shares in the listed companies people use each day. One thing is for sure, I won’t be switching electric off if they did.
Never mind, Roman is undoubtedly dirty as **** as well. All billionaires are. But if you spend all your time as a football fan worrying about the money, who is spending what, where is the money coming from etc etc, that completely takes the fun out of everything. Whats the point in even watching football if that is your take? If you go through life trying to only give money to the morally pure, you will end up denying yourself everything.
Was he a new manager? No, he wasn't, he was a returning manager that had been sacked 18 months previously and been out of work since. So, like your pathetic 'whataboutery' justification for the scummy jubilant scenes at your take-over, it's not really relevant is it? And then there's the context behind the anger the first time, which was primarlily aimed at the board because they'd sold our home with the promise of building the team, but 'used' the money to get in a load of cheap loans and freebies from Turkey & an Italian known for his hilarious penalty miss.
