Anyone remember the reported Paul Duffen takeover in 2018? I'd almost completely forgotten about it then stumbled across an old ep of the pod where we were talking about them being at the ground doing DD and resolving debts, etc. No idea what ever happened with that one..
Nothing new here they are just reporting on the reporting same as the HDM yesterday. "Deal to buy Hull City from Allam family completed, according to reports in Turkey"
At no point have I suggested I know anything at all about the deal, I've just posted a link to a Turkish article. You really are thick as mince.
And another reason anyone who might know even a snippet is cautious of posting it on a public forum. Classy reply from the site moderator. This 'thick a mince character' will not be posting on here again. Stew in your own self importance. Prick.
It's quite obvious that on here we have some that have inklings of information which they are gratefully sharing, we also have those that have been fed a load of bollox, but almost despair that others know more then them regarding this potential buyout ! We also have those that think they are ITK, but are just guessing, those that publish other snippets from any media site available and those that religiously believe anything they are fed ! Suffice to say I know fk all about the takeover, haven't got a clue if, when it's gonna happen, but am grateful to those that genuinely have an insight, because I havent been this positive for ages about my club hoping that a deal.may be on the horizon, as has been mentioned here numerous times during this thread, its the hope that kills you.
At the end of the day this is just a newspaper article in Turkey and it may be that it is business politics at play. There is generally a lull in activity during a sale process, as buyers wait for reports and papers are drawn up. Consortiums often struggle to get all of the money into a single pot and some will drop out. This is what happened when the Allams took over. Time ebbed away and in the end only one was left. So a timely reminder in the press might just cement positions in Turkey and it might not have been for U.K. consumption.
The Turkish article in the dull daily in the comments section are funny. One poster is convinced the billionaire owner of Fenebarce is one of the consortium
