initially I was in the dont want Rafa back camp but when I’ve thought about it more I’m coming round to the idea that it might not actually be a bad idea. Whilst he was here he was given very little to work with in terms of budget and it doesn’t take a ****ing genius to work out (as has been the case for many of the last 14 seasons under Ashley) that the primary goal was PL survival ! There’s only so much you can do with limited budget and a squad of virtually championship quality players. I think we would see a completely different Rafa with a lot more control, focus and structure in place around him. Don’t get me wrong he ain’t my first choice, or probably even in my top 5 but **** he’s a million miles better than Bruce and some of the other names being touted around so wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world for me. Totally different circumstances with totally different surroundings, same expectations from the fans but vastly different expectations and ambitions from our new owners. Could be a win-win for all concerned!
I just dont buy into this idea theres a type of manager we need because we're ****. I personally believe that's come from **** mangers that have only ever been able to hang their hat on being the best of the ****. Surely they're either good or they're not?
Ah **** off pal, I’m sick of your stupid fake statements about people being interviewed, are you in the room during the interview? Can you provide a concrete source other than some bullshit you’ve read on another forum? Your argument that a manager can only be considered successful based on trophies is just lazy…..Bielsa is a massively successful manager without winning anything, Pep has even said he sees him as a mentor, called him the best coach in the world. On the flip side would you class Di Matteo as successful for winning a CL, would you like him in charge?…..would you dare say on this forum that Kevin Keegan was an unsuccessful manager? He didn’t win anything!!
I like your post but why are people not listening to the chaps own lips. He has said he won’t leave Everton. This Rafa argument is futile?
