Burnley are poor, no ambition but quite well organised and happy for us to just play tippy tappy in front of them. You just know what's coming....
We really have become one of those sides that you expect to see last on MOTD and where neutrals are like “oh <team> vs Tottenham’s on TV, I’ll give that one a swerve”.
Liverpool have had 79% possession against Preston and 2 shots, 0 on target. Preston have had 6 shots, 3 on target. WTF's going on there?!
None of our players are showing any football bravery. They are bottling taking people on, bottling going to the byline and crossing and bottling pressuring them ... All except moura....who has no end product. 3 attempts against Burnley, none on target and no corners... is this really what they meant about going back to the tottenham way? Sorry, but this is a farce. How is he still our manager ffs?
Even the bloody throw ins are boring. Oh I'll take it, oh no it's my job, ok you take it. FFS just ****ing throw the ball into the path of someone.............anyone.
At least Jose had charisma in some press conferences when the football was ****e, to give fans a little giggle. Not forgetting some memorable antics (vs City especially!). Nuno somehow manages to be even more boring in his interviews than the football he gets his team to deliver. We’ll hear after the game “we worked hard” about 7 times.
Leicester v Brighton somehow became 2-1 before the break. Equaliser in the 48th minute, then Leicester went ahead again in the 50th.
That Liverpool side does look rather unfamiliar, to put it mildly. Their depth is absolutely shocking compared to Utd's, which makes Ole look even worse. I've no idea who Morton or Blair are, for a start. Utd would have Martial, Lingard and Mata on the bench for a 2nd XI.
Truth be told there is not much point in winning, I can't see a winnable game in the quarter finals, even Sunderland would work us out.
It could be worse: Goon Twitter is celebrating Lee Gunner being suspended I like to think that Spurs Twitter isn't so bad that we'd be dancing in the streets when ****ssoko gets the boot...
We have one of the best strikers in the world playing up front and we can't score against Burnley. What does that say about our team?
