Loans cost money, dont think there is a return clause (there may be but dont think so) so Arsenal cant recall him, to sell him, and if they do recall him, surely they will reimbure us some of the loan fee. Personally i think we are going to get 1 and ideally 2 strikers in January anyway, so depending on who they are, I dont think Bendtner will be such a big loss, only time will tell though.
Bendtner is good enough to play for a team in the europa league, unless we sort ourselves out he won't be here next season
I can see the Bent and Gyan scenario happening all over again. Why the **** can we not hang onto players? I cant see another single club struggling to hold onto its best players like we are. Its a ****ing mess alright and a mess started by the manager. He allowed Bent to go without replacing him and we have paid the penalty ever since. Then he let Gyan go and brought in another loan (which means he can **** off as well for a permanent move). Bruce's SAFC reign faltered back in January with this one decision and its never got back on track. It never will for me now. He is an incompetant ****er not fit to manage anything bigger than a pub team. Go back to Huddersfiled or Wigan you plank and let us be. If Bendtner goes and Bruce is still the manager come january I will be giving my season ticket away for the remainder of the campaign (if any one actually wants the ****er mind) and wont be renewing in March next year. That's a fact because I've had my fill of empty promises of jam tomorrow and Bruce is one of the worst exponents we have had for 40 years in that department imo. He has had the best finances, boardroom, stadium, fans support etc of EVERY single manager in my lifetime but has delivered garbagge that Crosby or Buxton would be embarrassed by. Not only that but he is now slagging us all off openly in the press and sticking 2 fingers up to us as he does it. Do you think he gives a **** if Bendtner leaves in Jan? Of course not, as it will be a ready excuse for him to try and explain the utter failure again of the club under his regime to the press and Short. The man is a cock-end of the highest proportions.
In January we need a left back, Centre Half, Striker (Keeing Bentner as well mind) and a left sided midfielder. Will we get them? I doubt it but if we don't get at least a Centre Half/Striker then we are in bother.
When Reids man management skills came under severe scrutiny towards the end of his 7 years with us even he didn't have the level of player turnover that Bruce has today. What we are witnessing today is on another level altogether....
