Just read the online Guardian report. Seems Chelsea were playing some team or other although you wouldn’t know it.
Only two #Ralphouters on Saints FB today, showing there is a number who you can never please, this is my personal fave.
Him, Steven Duro and some dude called David Stone are rabid on it. Even when we win, they find some reason.
Why cover the name (it's David Crook - probably related to Alex). They put it up on the Facebook public Saints page.
Absolutely gutted not to come away with the win. What a match though. Absolutely incredible game of football, away fans were insanely good.
Seriously, anyone who can't feel upbeat about the whole club after that performance really needs to find a new hobby. Just so proud to be a Saints fan right now. At last we have depth. Everyone deserves praise including Will and Theo (and especially MOTM Lyanco)
Steady on fella. We played really well but the club as a whole is still very troubled. Also Walcott was crap and has been all season. Don't get me wrong, I am happy with Ralph and think we will stay up this season, but lets not get carried away.
I'm going to frame this comment. Not because Che scored but because I've never seen anyone asking for Redmond to be brought on.
A refreshingly upbeat set of comments. As I said on an earlier post Theo is presenting a dilemma for some of us, desperate to see him in better form. Let's hope his contribution is being appreciated by his teammates as well.
Few thoughts while on tube before train home. - I love the gorilla - Good to see Smallbone back and thought he played well. If only that header went in. - I love the Gorilla. - We were excellent in general but our pressing in particular was superb - Armstrong isn't good enough imo. - In general it was a cracking cup tie and really enjoyable. - Did I say I loved the Gorilla? More later. Always tough to lose on pens but can't be disappointed overall. UTFS
We have a very decent squad here this season, interesting options in all positions. Let's just ****ing support them instead of trying to find fault all the time. Some players just need opportunities, some need confidence, some need a bit of luck. Let's not (Facebook and Twitter duck heads) write players off after a handful of games.
I woke up this morning and read the match reports as well as the comments on here. Shame we didn't go through but no shame in narrowly losing on penalties to a team of Chelsea's quality particularly as we matched them over the 90 minutes. I guess my run of match threads is now over, so who will take over with the next game at Watford on Saturday?
Went to the Wolves game at the end of last month and went to tonight’s game. Feeling far more positive after that performance. Lots of things to feel good about heading into the weekend. Let’s make it count in the league.
