I don't know what you are saying "isn't actually true". In the first instance I was guessing that MP's in the House weren't wearing masks because there will be protocols in place that they have to be fully vaccinated and tested before being allowed in the room hence they feel no need to wear a mask because they are all negative for Covid, a bit like only Covid free footballers are allowed to mingle, no test, no game. The second instance was an observation of what is actually happening in other indoor settings. I wasn't saying it is a good thing.
End of the day wear a mask it might protect you and others. People who don't wear masks in public because they don't want to are the kind of **** who should be eradicated.
Masks are for others. Primarily they stop you making a haze of droplets. This is why certain vented masks are worse than useless. A mask is a moisture collector. Blown out and you can't extinguish a candle. But in the end if you fill the room with a haze of corona (and this is why public transport is a bad zone) then mask are a lot less effective simply as not too many people wear them correctly and they are one size doesn't really fit all sort of deals.
The guidance on wearing them in a crowded place is that you don't need to if you're mingling with people you know well! There is no guidance on wearing them in the workplace. This is why Jacob Reece Mogg is defending not wearing them in the commons, he claims they know each other well so don't need to wear them. Plan B is to make masks mandatory again and restart working from home (which many companies are still doing anyway), but the government are saying we don't need to do even this yet. Daily cases now above 50,000.
That's an excuse not a justification as it wilfully ignores the pre-symptom infectious phase of the disease. week 1 = no to mild symptoms starting day 5 and infectious week 2 = sick as a pig week 3 = trouble breathing maybe go to hospital Week 4 = ICU/vents mogg is a dickhead of the highest order anyway. anything he does should be viewed with the distain someone ought to view Donald trump jnr with. its just an example why cases will be high and fly further up. my company has and continues to mandate masks in work through out the thing. its a complete pain in the ass but you do it. As I said before many times ventilation is critical. Air changes and filtration. Masks are not much use to protect a person but the system is really i protect you, you protect me. Mogg is saying to every other mp that he doesn't care if they live or die.
No, but youd put nothing past that family and Baldwin got his kicks out of the trump take offs so I'm sure they have had his name on thier list. No thought to the victim. Anyway I am still waiting for the arrests as Baldwin was producer and his set was not following basic rules so he is negligent
Apparently the assistant director had been sacked from a previous production for gun safety violations - I know no more details. Regardless of whose responsibility it is, to say the remarks were tasteless doesn't even begin to describe it.
Yeah, totally uncaring to get at the guy who slighted the family. Apparently the film crew were playing cowboys shooting targets which says it all and left bullet in gun
Maybe this will usher in greater safety regulations with firearms on set, like the Twilight Zone incident led to improvements in safety with sfx explosions and such. Yanks and their guns though...
Some conservative woman tweeted it was poetic justice that he shot someone given he used to take the piss out of trump…
