yes I will. Some ****ing players don’t deserve to wear the shirt but the manager and coaches have simply been not good enough. I hold my hands up. The manager is not good enough but that doesn’t absolve the ****ing players from their responsibility too.

I think you rather over-estimate the reach and influence of this little bar-room banter board.

Nah, these players and this squad is good enough. I don't remember anyone saying anything different at the start of the season. "No more excuses" for Ole. The manager should be getting the best out of them. He's tactically inept and the performance of the team that you mention is a mixture of poor tactics and players who have lost complete faith in him.

    Look at it this way...

    1) Put Klopp or Pep in charge of that side and you're looking at a side challenging for the league

    2) NO other club in the Prem would have Ole as manager. Not even Norwich.

Both those things are a fact, there's no getting away from it.

The players are reflection of the manager, Christian. No one wakes up in the morning in the best condition for matches if they are not put through the drills to form that very habit over a long period of practice. It is not something that you just turn on and off. The habit displayed by the players is directly tied to how they are coached. End of story!

It is not just this forum. It is across the landscape. Ex-players, fans and those at the club that romanticized it. If we all spoke to the facts, Ole would have been gone at the end of last season.

Not sure if any of you have watched it, but Ole has pretty much said in his post-match interview he's not going anywhere <laugh> <doh>

You want to put the complete responsibility on the manager. It’s your prerogative. I think his tactics has been bad this season and his performance has been dreadful. But in addition, you cannot absolve the players too. Of course they play under the system of the manager but their own lack of work rate has compounded the problem. We may see him sacked in the next few days or nearer the end of the season. If he does stay, he needs to look at the tactics he uses and may be get advice from more experienced managers about how to integrate CR. CR can only play in the team if others work an extra 10%. Why would we want to press a good team when we have Ronaldo at the top who cannot press? ****ing madness.

The board of a billion dollar business, any business, make decisions based on a number of factors, least of all is fan rhetoric. Perversely, the share price of the club will likely rise marginally tomorrow on the basis of pure speculation regarding the manager. My holding is insignificant compared to the Glazers who can make millions just from newspaper speculation. So do they stick or twist............

To be fair, strip away the romance of it all and CR is looking like a bad signing. Cavani would have been a better starter today

OK can we at least agree that Ole HAS to scrap the coaching staff and bring in people who actually know what they're doing. It's jobs for the boys at the moment and it's destroying the club from within.

The only way Ole can turn this around and prove he's capable of becoming a top manager is bringing in the right coaching team and get them delivering what he wants. Carrick and Phelan are never going to deliver that.

The Glazers won’t get rid of him unless they thought CL was in danger. Not because I want him to stay. The deficiencies today are so damn obvious. The defence needs looking into and the coaching staff under Solskjaer needs examination. Are they good enough should they decide to keep the manager?

Today is the turning point. Everything from top to bottom needs looking into. Manager, Coaches, training, systems. We are a mess and we are in big trouble.

Definitely. If they won’t sack Ole then we need to change the coaches. The defence is a shambles.

we are in a mess because we know Ole will show loyalty to his coaches.

BTW can you desist from starting a match thread ever again? Especially the next one against Spurs. Bloody hell, Kane Son and Moura will make mincemeat of Maguire and co. :(

We seriously have to think about what happens when we play Spurs and then City.

Especially City. Another result like today's is unthinkable.

    Someone needs to do it.

'The board' don't have a clue about football, clearly.

Watching Phelan, Carrick and the other bloke sat on their arses with blank looks on their faces is embarrassing. They clearly haven't got a scoob.

And then in front of them you have Solskjaer.

Except he's stood. With a blank clueless look on his face.

I though Moyes and the three he brought were bad, this is so much worse.

I bet they haven’t even identified or know about some proper innovative coaches out there who could work under Ole. They won't have even thought of it.
