If we'd have continued to go gung-ho and shipped a couple of breakaway goals then we'd have been criticised for poor game management. The last 20-25 minutes were played the way we should have done. Boring though, I admit - I wanted 7 to match the Chavs demolition of Norwich. Still, have to give Ollie a slim chance of keeping his job. Utd have had some incompetent managers since Fergie but he takes the biscuit. Nice guy and all that, but so far out of his depth it's embarrassing. He really has no idea what he's doing.
Have to agree. Did we even get out of 3rd gear? Robbo was poor enough, konate over eager and getting in bad positions but we basically walked in through them. They failed to take a chance despite having 4 in the first half. It was like pushing baby chicks into water. Ronaldo was a total passenger there. Massive wages and no end product unless the other ten carry him up the park
Pogba getting sent off will save them because the headlines will be something like "10-man Utd lose to Liverpool"
A good win, but we will face much stronger opposition than that this season..................Preston in mid-week spring to mind.
Hope Kieta is OK, it looked nasty. Have to hope it is just severe bruising so he will only miss 12 games.
oh it wasn't a criticism of the way we played , particularly considering the injuries . just an observation in terms of enjoyment .
Nice delusional interview by Solskjaer there. ‘We’re too close to give up now’. Close to what exactly?
Salah might not get as many goals as he did in 17/18 but he's a far better player now than he was back then. 3/4 years ago he just scored goals but he's a complete player now, he creates, scores, runs and leads games. Easily the best player in the country at the very least.
