Someone drag Fergie down from the director's box to the dugout - we might just salvage something with him in charge.
An absolute embarrassment. I said 6 months ago. If he genuinely cares about the club he would resign.
To be fair, he pulled a rabbit out of the hat in the second half. Maybe he should keep the job on that second half.
Was never going to happen again that. Wednesday was against Atalanta reserves for **** sake! They had half their team missing.
Scholes called it after the Atalanta game. I posted at the time, he said the first half was a massive concern and that if we played like that against Livpl we'd be decimated. The bloke knows.
Sorry, he HAS to resign. I'd be quite happy for him to fck off upstairs. No problem with that at all. Maybe the board and him have a chat and come up with something amicable like taking on a role in the player recruitment side of the club.
This is a team that warrants doubts about any match. I’ve never seen a team so completely dominated in that fixture before. Simply incredible. The score line completely reflects the performance. Absolute shambles. Even worse than Leicester’s match and that was awful. playing the same team that conceded 2 goals in the first 20 minutes was madness. What was he ****ing thinking?
I will be very pssed if come tomorrow morning he’s still the manager of the club. We really do have a structural problem at this club from top to the bottom. It isn’t all Ole’s fault if we look at the facts. Those that gave him the initial contract and then extended it with promise of payout that will now prevent him from resigning are as much at fault.
The match wasn’t a proper contest. We simply sabotaged ourselves. Mistake after mistake. Pressing half heartedly is suicide. Either do it properly or don’t don’t do it. For every goal they scored 5 or 6 players were out of the game. Not through some fantastic play from the opposition but through our own failures. Honestly if we don’t go back to the drawing board we will be lucky to finish top half never mind top 4. We are not a team but a group of talented individuals. Today’s shambles removed any doubt at all.
Second that point! The fact of this matter is that this was avoidable. But we romanticized with foolish ideas and held unto hope against every evidence that were presented that we needed a better manager. Joy is the last thing that anyone feels around here when we get trashed at home by Liverpool regardless of the circumstance . But the stubbornness to not call spades what it is has been extremely frustrating. Because that effectively kept the wrong man in charge for far longer than necessary.
Rather the other way round I would think. Abuse of people thought to defend the manager. The manager takes responsibility and had made many mistakes but the players have to bear responsibility too. Apparently we have the worse working running players in the league. They all need to look at themselves the ****ing mirror, including the manager. I said he couldn’t manage Ronaldo’s integration into the team. He has completely distorted the team who had Cavani working his socks off into an awful rabble.
You’re still blaming the players!!! Who’s fault is it that we have the worst running players? Next thing we will be blaming their legs.
