Anyone who insists on picking Fred and McTominay and then turns out a performance like this deserves everything coming. I've said before he'll live or die by the continued use of two average players at the fulcrum of the pitch, and so it will prove. It's his own choice, so it's his own fault.
He has to go straight away. No excuses. Liverpool are playing how we ought to be playing given the talent on the pitch and on the bench. Defensively we're all over the place - why we insist on inviting pressure by playing out when neither Maguire or Lindelof are skilled enough and the McFred coupling offers nothing. If Ole fields the same eleven in the second half and they play the way they did in the first 45 then we're toast, this could end up an even more embarrassing score line than it already is.
It’s sad witnessing this. I feel bad for everyone associated with the club. If I were Ole, I would resign after this game.

In Pogba's defence, if I sat watching McTominay on the pitch instead of him I'd be pissed off as well. Fernandes should have been sent off sooner, he got away with one. Got nowhere near the ball, at least Pogba did.
I wonder if a manager has ever quit or been sacked during a game - time yet. Ole won't go on his own though, he would lose his big pay-off for being sacked.
Don't take this the wrong way mate, but we NEVER play out from the back. We play at the back full stop. We've been doing that the best part of 12-18 months. We pass it around the back ad infinitum and I've been trying to point this out all along. Cb to fb, then back to cb then out to Shaw who might get forward. We don't play through the midfield. Haven't done so in over a year. What you're seeing is just the limit of all those tactics now being exposed.
