That performance would be unacceptable even if we hadn’t fully rotated midweek but to pull out a second half like that with 11 fresh players on the pitch is utterly unacceptable. Not a single shot on target in the second half, I believe. I’ve been charitable to Nuno. He’s had a lot of mitigating circumstances that many coaches would have struggled to deal with. But I think this has tipped me over the edge now. He’s a nice guy but just doesn’t seem to know what to do with these players. Game management and overall squad management seems, on the basis of these early games, to be utterly lacking. I’ve advocated for Nuno to be given time but honestly if we could get a viable alternative in tomorrow I’d have few qualms about pulling the trigger.
AVB all over again. What is this fascination with the deliberate style from Portugal you might just send a post card from the back at Spurs to the West Ham team. We are on our way we will soon arrive in your penalty area. Thanks said West Ham nice of you to let us know. Just rubbish.
There's not a lot you can do when you put someone on their main threat and he just stands there, though.
West Ham were fortunate that Tierney has no balls or they would be playing with ten men and be losing to a penalty. That said we had enough possession to win that game anyway, wasted opportunities by Kane and Son, and slack defending by Kane who used to be so good at heading away corners, cost us
The club's rotten to the core. Nuno was a shocking appointment. Keeping Kane was a mistake. What's next?
I don't see what we could've done differently with Kane. There are a ton of money clubs around now. Do we just sell every player that they bid for? 50p for Son? Sure, go ahead. He'll play **** anyway.
