Is there is any mileage in the report below it looks like there is not much room for manoeuvre for your new man in terms of the January transfer window http://mauveandyellowarmy.net/
Maybe we should sell all the older players to generate cash to get Eddie Howe as Director of Sport and put the U23s in en masse- players and manager. Maybe we drop down but with a good basis for rebuilding. Swansea seem to do very well out of their academy. Where are we going wrong? Is it the difference between the two setups.......I think Swans have a highest grade academy (or at least did)? So do/did they attract better youngsters?
An excellent plan with only one tiny drawback: who in their right mind is going to part with money to buy any of our older guys? Not sure about the academy comparison. Is it more likely that our youth system is as good but the connect to senior level is the problem. Taught one thing and then asked to perform quite differently.
We say Dalman and Choo don't know much about football but compared to VT they are Pep and Klopp. I don't get how such a successful businessman can be a so absolutely clueless regarding an investment north of £150 million. If he has such implicit faith in all of his decisions he is well on the way to writing off that money and possibly incurring much higher further costs being the very major shareholder.
Remember that football expert Dalman stating he felt like he was the cat who got the cream when he snared OGS from that football hinterland, Norway, for a relegation scrap. And he brought a smorgasbord of dubious talent with him.
What a great article - bang on the money and sums it up completely................. https://www.dai-sport.com/cardiff-c...-dinosaur-its-that-the-club-is-jurassic-park/
A well written and accurate arcticle but as is pointed out within it, there's nothing that we haven't been saying for ages. I'm getting more concerned as each day passes.
Spot on. So if the problem is Tan then he needs to sell up and go. Of course back in the real world we’re left supporting a club run by amateurs tinkering away hoping they’ll strike gold with their next choice as manager selected from a lucky dip.
As I've just read in another article, it's not just a question of who Cardiff wants, it's more a question of who would want Cardiff.
