Roughing us up angered us. But we played poorly. Not because of that. We just played poorly. But we’ve been roughed up a lot this season and won most of our games. You ideal like only Portsmouth, Gillingham and Charlton have done that. They haven’t. Almost everyone has. Except burton who also beat us.

Most teams raise their game against us, work until they drop then run out of steam in the following game.

It happens so often it's no coincidence ...

... Charlton will probably lose to Doncaster next week.

Yeah he seems to be taking more than his fair share of criticism. In the games he's been below par so has every bugger else.

From memory (could be wrong in other words) was it not him that played a superb ball over the top for that great chance for O'Brien? Best chance we had all game.

I never said only those three teams have done that, I merely used them as recent examples. So why get angry over it (roughing up), it's league one, the third tier of english football, where do you think you are? You've got plenty more of that to come. Look at the top of the table, Plymouth and Wycombe, it's hilarious you couldn't make it up tbph...Akinfenwa's lot telling you everything you need to know, with Hanlan as ex player of ours in their front line. Hoof it over the top, back to goal, knock it down, lay it on to the main striker.

Not entirely true, we won our next game, and then drew the next after that. So we haven't lost since we played you.

If the supporters, in this league, settle for that then more fool them imo.

It's supposed to be a game, an entertainment and good to watch.

Evans is the worst of them, even Ainsworth, which is reflected in the amount of people who turn up to watch.

True, I'd forgotten about the fluke 1-0 win at home to the bottom club.

To be honest, I’d be upset if our players weren’t angered by getting kicked! Or should they just take it no questions asked? No arrogance I know where we are. Look at your players and manager when one of yours got kicked (poor challenge). They didn’t just stand and take it

I don't sit looking to blame other managers and players, when the results don't go our way.

Well, I've been to play off games, Wembley twice (Should've been three.) and seen us win a Wembley trophy.

It hasn't been that good until now but it's definitely going in the right direction.

?? Wtf you on about? I blamed our players. Not theirs or their manager. Same against Portsmouth. Our players weren’t up for it. They had a better run of luck and didn’t play much football which we tried. Our players. Not others

Some supporters seem to admire the clogging and dire football.

Strange but they get what they deserve then have protests against the club.

So you've watched Sunderland play entertaining football for the last three seasons then?

If you have, it's clearly not working for you, because you are still here. <ok>

Not for long, we will piss this league this year, we are by far the best team in this league and by far the biggest club in the league. We will have blips but by and large we will sweep aside most teams this season. We are largely a young team and make no mistake the young lads we have will benefit massively from the blips we will have over the course of the season.
