And up front. we need to build a side around Stewart, but are any two from McGeady, Gooch, Aob, Pritchard and Dajaku the answer I dont know.

Heard this too often in the last few weeks. Disappointed with today we need to nail these teams.

    Rubbish.
Dajaku has to start in place of AOB and Evans in front of Onein, I also don’t understand taking Neil off who can pass the ball.
Bad day at the office, well done Charlton for making the most of it. Leko looks a good player.

Agree hopefully Broadhead can step in but think we need another forward on the window. But we definitely need someone to control midfield with a bit of physicality

Disappointing performance today, seemed flat at times. I am not going to get down hearted though. We will bounce back. We have good players coming back from injury. Might just need a striker in January to give us a different option in terms of how we can play when behind. Stewart is very good but I wouldnt mind an alternative to let us mix things up tactically.

It appears that the main function of SAFC in football is to go on short winning streaks and then lose to teams who have been on longer streaks of ****e results

Strange one that as Neil was doing OK, but LJ's substitutions are often amiss imo.

Bloody awful just about sums it up. Pretty much everyone ahead of the defence had a shocker. Didn't think Johnson got his subs right either.

All in all it was a tad ****.

FFS. We have a young side, there are going to be bumps in the road along the way. Yes today was a crap performance, I'm not denying that but Charlton just sacked their manager which obviously have them a lift. We're still in the hunt for automatic promotion places but I suppose that won't satisfy your need for slagging the club off

    I'd agree on both points.

Stewart has games when he doesn't seem to know where he's playing.

McGeady and O'Nien misplaced way too many passes and were knocked off the ball throughout the game.

I'd have played Evans from the start or, when we were obviously struggling, put him on for O'Nien.

Couldnt understand taking Neil off either. He always has the killer pass up his sleeve. Dajaku will hopefully be fit enough next time as his pace will give us a different threat. Hopefully Johnson will learn from today, he still has plenty of credit in the bank with me, but agree on his subs today.

I didn't think McGeady had that good a game today but he wasn't the only one. I would've took both him, AOB and O'Nien off and left Pritchard and Neil on but who would be a manager eh?

We keep making the mistake of playing teams who are also trying to win.

I’m pleased he signed as he’s a decent L1 player. That’s about it mind, shouldn’t be starting for us.

Wasn't slagging off the club, merely commenting on the fact that we have ever been the hope of any team on an extended run of ****e results.

Yes, we are a work in progress and the squad needs a little strengthening come the January window, but even so I expect us to be in a promotion place at season's end.

Had our defence not improved from last season we would have got hammered today. Lose next week and we need Mick mcarthy back quick, Johnson can only get away with so much, and is these cup runs going to do us ? 4th now as well they better not blow it now, and we need signings in Jan.
