Wondering if this no show is down to Cantwell saga? Clearly, DF is at odds with the lad and other players may be involved with the situation. BBC Radio Norfolk phone in is producing a series of rants. I really think it’s time that DF went on his way. Brilliant two seasons in Championship but clearly can’t cut it in the EPL despite spending many £m on new players.
It can't help, can it? He helped screw up our start to the Championship season last year and now he's doing it again this season.
Honestly, I think Cantwell is irrelevant to this. Farke has said he hasn't been able to complete a full week of training in ages, through niggling injuries and undisclosed personal reasons. The fact Cantwell has been prepared to play an U23s game to try and get back to fitness faster doesn't sound like a player with an attitude issue. Cantwell has no impact on our defensive shape, and if Farke wanted to use an attacking midfielder he has plenty of alternatives.
We may be jumping to conclusions but he does appear to be a toxic influence. Farke has previous for freezing out certain characters starting with Nelson & more recently Leitner & Drmic. It's his style
Inject some belief into the players, we don’t look like we think we can win these games. Brentford are doing well because they believe they can challenge everyone
Our players had plenty of belief in the two draws previously. Changing the Head Coach would cost the club big money we can ill afford to spend.
And If we go down does he have a proven track record of promoting clubs that don't have money to burn?
