Eurosport are reporting Leeds and Phillips are a long way apart in expectation regarding a new contract offer that would extend beyond 2024. I’m slightly surprised we’re thinking of one now after he recently signed a new contract. Next year he’ll still have two years to go, offering one now that is seemingly being refused just starts the vultures circulating. I can’t help but feel the new contract offer now is more about boosting his market value
No idea mate, I'm sure there was names but like players they suggest, they have no idea whether they'd want to come to Leeds. Because every player we're linked with wants to come here you know, it's Radz, Orta and Bielsa's fault we don't get them
My understanding is Paddy Bamfords new deal is almost ready to sign and it was the club who wanted to offer Kalvin a new deal. I hear he is happy to take the new deal because it protects the clubs investment and its not all about wages with Phillips. He is a big part of the project and has no intention of leaving next Summer, but may well have to the following year if he keeps improving, but would only go to a top top club for a big fee and all with the backing of Leeds.
Could Raphinha and Rodrigo play as a rotating 9. I could see Raphinha scaring defenders to death in their box as long as James and Harrison can whip in some balls? A surprise move
What is the point of Norwich? They sold a shed load of players for near on £100m since being relegated from the prem, they have spent a few bob and git promoted again. However what is the point they are already 2-0 and look to be odds on for relegation again. It looks to me that this is a club who have no ambition and just want to do enough to bounce up and down and get parachute money. Is this what fair football should be about?
