Thinking about it Munse, can't say I've ever met a Newcastle fan, so like Palace for you, it's about geography. Yeah we've met plenty of Arsenal, Spurs and United fans, but they have a higher percentage of glory hunters. No one is going to be glory hunting Newcastle bro. <whistle>

Unfortunately we’ll get that in a few years and we'll get called plastics.

It's a price I'm happy to pay

Talking of plastics, read this from a Gills supporter yesterday, I've edited out the unimportant bits...

I decided this morning that I would go to Bolton tomorrow but had my mind made up for me that actually I couldn’t.

It doesn’t seem unreasonable does it, to decide to attend a League One match 24 hours before kick off and expect to be able to buy a ticket? When that match is in a 20k+ seater stadium it should be even less of a problem surely? But no.

Firstly, I discovered that for whatever reason Bolton have decided that there’s no pay on the day for away fans. As if we’re likely to fill the away section.

At 2pm this afternoon Gillingham FC was shut. The chairman having decided to give the staff a day off. The link on the club website to buy a ticket for tomorrow doesn’t work. So no way to buy a ticket from this end.

I called Bolton and unlike at Priestfield, there was at least someone there to answer my call. Surely they’d sell me a ticket that I could either download or collect tomorrow, wouldn’t they? Having been cash strapped on many occasions surely this of all clubs would find a way to bank my money. But no. All too difficult. Too late they said. 25 hours before kick off and with at least 10,000 empty seats likely, I was too late to buy a ticket.

Like many, my enthusiasm has been disappearing over recent years and what’s left has been further tested by the contempt I feel has been displayed to loyal fans in recent months. This could be the final straw for me.

Imagine turning down money.. Makes no sense.

Personally I wish away allocations were higher in the premier league...

Surely if there's tickets available they should sell them to away fans??

Is there a rivalry there or something?

It's a fooking crazy mate, this is what it's got like. GFC have closed the club shop and now only take card payments, their last attendance was just over 3k, the clubs are killing themselves through their own stupidity. How can a ground like Bolton, that can hold 20k, not take a punters money, it's a fooking joke, and blaming time periods or technical issues is not a way to do business.

It beggars belief. Now I know a route he could have got a ticket, but that's because I know a person who would be holding tickets, but it shouldn't be this much grief for your average punter. Let them turn up on the day and take their money on the gate, why has that become so difficult.

dunno why, Norwich have qualified for 2 years of parachute payments, and that seems to be the board's goal for the club.

Problem is also it's created the haves and have nots divide over recent years in the Championship. Those receiving the payments and those that can't compete financially against it.

yeah, the TV money, and it's distribution, has completely screwed the league system.

That was a **** penalty
T'was a bit Southgate-esque wasnt it?
I'd be angry if we weren't 5 goals and one man up!

And to think with the injuries to our forwards, some people thought we would struggle to score goals.
Luckily for us, Norwich are utter dog ****e <laugh>
They aiming to break Derby's lowest points tally record by the look of it
