That is all true, but we should have had a pen, and this is one of the most lop sided ref performances I've seen in a very long time.
The foul for literally nothing with the really obvious dive. That probably doesn't narrow it down much!
I get the ref has been bad but we started with SIX internationals on the pitch...and have had just 5 attempts and only 1 on target. Find it hard to see how anyone comes out of this with credit tbh.
I take back what I said about not using any first team players in this tournament. I'll make one exception. The home leg against this lot. I can't remember ever seeing such a bunch of cynical, diving, play acting "professionals" in all my life. Worse than the very worst of Italy and Spain. I want us to play a full strength side and absolutely batter them.
At least this shows what most of us on here have said for a long time and that is how weak the squad is. Take Kane and Son out of the equation and this is a bang average squad which has too many players who don’t bring much quality.
