Who knows. I tried my contact and even he says he has nothing so I doubt even the club know atm. I reckon they are just sounding out. He says Bruce was relieved of his duties because when they spoke with him they seen a broken man. They asked him if he was enjoying it and he said what do you think?
I suspect he cried yesterday. I'm seeing fans still being unpleasant.. No need. This was made person day 1 and Bruce went up against them.. It was fans vs bruce.. He should've left after finishing 12th and crowed like the fans are now
I agree he should have left after season 2 but he was tied into a contract. He would have forgone that nice 8-10m payoff. He’s only human of course and it’s only money but some folks won’t make as much money as he did in a week than they do in two years. So it’s very hard to feel sorry for him.
Look take the manu fans last night for example. Chanting Ole out. At half time. He is one of their own: he won them the ****ing champions league ffs. We wanted Bruce out because we won 7 in 37 games. Football fans are fickle. Lampard got sacked. He had a good record at Chelsea. Just didn’t win every game. Leicester fans where booing their team after a few losses earlier this season. Arsenal fans saying Arteta is out of his depth and can’t manage to save himself.
He also wanted to win and prove himself.. I think he probably had dreams of getting the support from the fans. This idea it was just about money I don't agree with.. He's won everything as a player.. He wanted to win. I've had times when groups of people have been after me in life and you can't win them over.. Fight back it gets worse and reason is lost of people that hate you. That's life
Give over man: he wanted the pay off. Every man and his dog knows that. He didn’t stay for the love of the club. If he did he would have handed in his resignation. If it was affecting his family so much then he should have aswell. In fact if that was the case you have to ask why he didn’t hand in his notice as family is more important. So he either stayed for the pay day or he stayed because he is selfish.
If he'd left them he'd have won his battle with he fans. I think he wanted to have another go based on the form for the second half of last season He ****ed up.. He's now ended up looking like a modern day general custer
That’s exactly my point. A lot of these fans who are having a dig at us for wanting Bruce gone because of his performance and it being unfair is just utter bullshit. Every fan wants a manager out if he is performing poor.
No you just think that. He wanted to win and prove his critics wrong is my bet. I think he wanted to maybe win over the fans and leave on a high. It's undoubtedly hurt him this experience. I don't know about his love for the club I don't think he has a big opinion on it though. Maybe based on the last thing 14 years he was right abd mines over inflated. Mate you're now doing to me what the entire fanbase has done with Bruce. You're reading a reasonable defense and you don't like it, so you're having a go at me. I'm not being a dick to you I'm just telling things as I see it. I'll always do that. Let's move on It's all been said
Last thing I’m going to say then. Bruce stayed for the money and the only thing he proved was he is a selfish man.
Honestly is quite exciting this whole next manager thing. I start my new job on Monday. I have two days off today and tomorrow. My new job is a better one aswell. I can honestly say this last 3 weeks of life have almost flipped upside down and for once in a very good way. Ive never been happier.
Pleased for you mate everyone has highs and lows and its always important to try and lift those around you when their heads are down. If you recall I did that for you and I'm delighted to hear that. You did it yourself well done
I agree. I personally hate the man but he's now left. It's over. Leave him to it. Now just Charnley and Shelvey to go.
