    Eddie Howe's last three seasons at Bournemouth: 17/18 - 61 goals conceded (18th) 12th place finish. 18/19 - 70 goals conceded (18th) 14th place finish. 19/20 - 65 goals conceded (18th) 18th place finish.

Well, that'd certainly make a 'statement'.

Did they play a modern passing game? Yes.

Seriously it's like you along with others have lost your senses completely

Saudi armed forces, mate, he made a joke. Kashoggi-style.

On Howe, it's just no thanks. It's low ambition, wrong fit (he's never going to shore this shower of ****e up), cheap option. We need to be able to attract quality in Jan - if we indeed actually have the money that's claimed. Is Howe the guy to do that? If we're 18th with Howe in charge in jan, who's coming to the rescue?!

You can't just go and get a world class manager in our position.

There's nothing attractive about it to them yet. They can just wait a few months and get a job at a club that's already up there that aiso offers high wages.

We've got to start from the bottom of the ocean

I would be very happy with Howe to be honest. He’d be our Mark Hughes (at city) get us more fancy on the eye, more attractive playing. His defensive record does worry me a little though.
But if he was to be appointed I’d be quite happy. Progress doesn’t go from 0-100, it’s marginal, that would be the case from Bruce to Howe.

I’m with Muns on this one. There’s absolutely no way we’re going to appoint the likes of Conte etc whilst being in the relegation places. It’s unrealistic look what Man City did with Mark Hughes, they did it the perfect way now look at them.

Its because we’ve waited so long that we want things done in a click of a finger. Bruce definitely should be gone by now I admit. But it’s delusional to think we get a proven European manager this early on.

Personally I think a lot of the frustration is coming from the lack of any visible action so far, we don't know what's going on behind the scenes so it makes people anxious, I think once the first appointment is made either behind the scenes or manager wise people will start to relax.

On that note I really dislike Steve Bruce however if he genuinely still does not know whether he is coming or going then that is really poor from our new owners and a major cause for concern.

Spot on. They should be making every effort to be more visible, whether that's putting out posts about cleaning up the stadium toilets, painting the wheelie bins at Darsley or recruiting for mundane jobs like commercial manager or bloody credit controller, we should be seeing twice-daily bits coming out about change.

I think it's perfectly acceptable to be on edge about it now - I also agree that a lot of this will dissipate once a major appointment is made. I understand (Leo/Chaos) that a big appointment is hugely unlikely - the Simeone/Berta story is utter bollocks in my opinion, Simeone wasn't even bothered about the Man U job. But Howe was a realistic Ashley appointment. If it's him, then who am I to judge and I'll have to suck it up and support it - at least it's not Bruce. The worst part of this is the appearance, the fact it's nearly two weeks and nothing has happened bar some soap and water at the stadium. Within three weeks of Mansour arriving, City were paying £32m for Robinho. We haven't even got the excuse of player purchases taking up time as the window doesn't open for 2 months.

I know, I'm over-emotional about it - need to calm down. As I say, if the players were in today doing extra training with Jones stepping in, I could sleep at night.

I'm not quite sure what's so hard to understand.

They had no time to prepare.. It's not the local pizza shop.

    They're doing it right!
