I really don't get why the media keep trotting out this 1000 game nonsense like it is a hallmark of quality. All that means is he has been given more chances and failed at more clubs than most others.
Not entirely sure on this one. None of us know what is said in the privacy of the dressing room or manager’s office. It could be a case of he’s told him “look I need to deflect a bit away from myself so I’m going to use some almost underhand tactivts pointing at your charity work” sounds unlikely but I think it happens. Managers will say stuff to the press but completely different stuff in private.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58942621 he’s getting called out by the BBC now. ‘Chippy when criticised’…. Liverpool might be the end of him
Maybe he already has and Rashford has told him to "do one" His wages and potential eclipse anything Ole can hold against him, and by the looks of it Ole isn't going to be around long enough to continue the argumant.
This. He's a footballer first and foremost. Man Utd pay him a huge wage as their employee, it's about time he respected that. There's nothing wrong with the odd comment but he can concentrate on being a politician at the end of his football career. I see Solskjaer's words have already made him get his head down and he bagged a goal yesterday against Leicester. Good on him.
what ever side OGS puts out are just individuals. People will realise sooner or later he cant field a team to win trophies but he can field a team of big names. I watched Pogba interviewed after the game. This bloke epitomises everything wrong with Manure who will not be winning anything major in the foreseeable future. You only have to look at last years final v Villa Real.
Top managers are thin on the ground. Man Utd appointed Moyes and Solskjaer, Chelsea had to take a flier with Lampard, Liverpool did the same with Roy Hodgson. The top managers can go to top clubs because they want success, not a rebuild job. Newcastle would be better off with someone like Potter or Hasenhuttl ... ... but the Mags won't accept that because they're the richest club in the world and the best supporters.
Southgate would be great on so many levels. He'd prove himself to be a monumental hypocrite. England supporters would hate Newcastle for taking him away. He'd confuse the Mags who wouldn't know whether to wear tea towels or waistcoats.
