You on about that unsackable clause? I'm still not convinced. I think its more to do with lack of coaches till someone agrees to takeover. I could be wrong. I just don't see how someone as brutal in business as Ashley puts that clause in or agrees to that clause mate. Got to remember this is MR ZERO HOUR CONTRACTS we're talking about.

If we are still in the premiership the contract gets auto renewed. A perpetual contract: yes. It suited Bruce and his team. And it suited Ashley. 17th was the target each year. Nothing more nothing less.
The longer it drags on. The more I worry about Amanda’s credentials and what the plan is. I know there is a contract complication (Bruce) but that can easily be fixed if desired. I think given the “heat” with the role and the uncertainty because of our position it is putting even second tier level candidates off.
But - and this is important - many managers do not and cannot talk to us whilst a manager remains in situ. This is where some of this logic of "right guy" is bullshit. If they want to talk to Gerrard, they have to make it official via Rangers. Same for Emery, Rafa, etc. So to make it official, to make that approach, there has to be an available job. Gerrard can - at best - say "no comment". Anything else and the club and the bloke himself could be in a ****load of trouble. The fact there seems to be no sign of Bruce being sacked today is HUGELY troubling.
