I was just thinking about No.16 today! Agree. For me it's American phrases like "thats how we roll". **** that annoys me!
'Sick' meaning good. I'm afraid the kids have finally run out of ideas to replace the word good. And ending every sentence with the word 'man', man.
Haven't seen EOS yet (End of Story). Would/could/might of are extremely irritating, as is the constant filler "like". Most annoying of all is commentators who constantly follow the definite article with an indefinite article (ie the a). She was in the a final of the a ................
Does anyone use these phrases in a post -modern ironic kinda way and then end up using them as a matter of course?
On a football note and as a Chelsea fan I'm very bored with people who say 'Chelski' and seem to consider it clever in some way. Mainly Arsenal fans. First of all it's very old and very dull. Secondly to call us Chelski would be to insinuate we were connected to Poland. If you want us to sound Russian then it would be better to call us Chelskov. Or you could not call us anything at all and just kill yourself. That would surely be better for everybody.
