After a man of the match performance against Liverpool in the reserves, he's been done for drink driving.

Basically his life in a nutshell.

Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger in drink-driving charge

Nile Ranger was bailed pending the results of a blood test
Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger has been charged with drinking and driving, police have confirmed.

The 20-year-old was arrested in an early morning incident in Newcastle city centre last month.

He was granted bail pending the outcome of a blood test and was charged on Thursday and told to appear before Newcastle magistrates on 10 November.

Another man aged 21 has also been charged with drinking and driving and driving without insurance.

The charges relate to an incident on 11 September in which the footballer's distinctive black and white Range Rover was allegedly driven off while Mr Ranger was talking to police.

    The car was stopped nearby.

Silly boy, risking his career for the sake of a few beers. Another one who can't be bothered to just jump into a cab.

    Tight, silly or what?

The thing that im worried about is his contract.. im sure he signed a 5 year deal last season.. that would be a ball ache to pay off to release him. we should be able to just sack him for misconduct, sue him to gain back wages and let him just live out life as the criminal he is.. let the justice system deal with him. then he can die knowing he lived the "gangsta lifestyle"

He thinks he is a superstar, he needs to sort his head out because he has so much potential.

"The charges relate to an incident on 11 September"

how is this after the Liverpool game, it is merely the continuation of an incident we have known of for some time, not an additional incident

Just to make things clear. He was charged because of an offence he allegedly committed in September not because of an offence he allegedly committed last night.

Hope he sorts himself out, sincerely... His life is in quite a mess and he would do well to sort it out... Just one of those frustrating players whom get you down without even stepping on a pitch.

If he gets found guilty then I'm sure we can get rid of him without giving him any money
