Che Adams can’t hit a cows arse with a banjo since he came to the PL, I like him but I just don’t think he’s a PL striker. We don’t have a proven goal scorer and our attacking mids are non-threatening. Our defence has improved but your keeper can probably have the afternoon off.

Most likely all of them but the system now wouldn't work with Smith and Viduka so one of those would be out, quite possibly Keane too. Harte was a poor defender, scored some great goals , not sure he'd have the fitness for today's squad
Quite a few but how many of us want to go back to Division one because over time that's where having this line up took us.
So, if quite a few of those players would have walked strait into our current and that squad would have taken us down to Division one. What dose that say about our current squad then?
It tells you we aren't trying to match and keep up with the Jonesys. We have a plan and aren"t going out paying silly money and buying everyone in sight just to try and live with the big boys. That squad didn't take us down it was the dream in thinking we could have them and keep them that did.
True we did spend a hell of a lot of money we didn’t have at that time living the dream and don’t want to go back to those days.
