You mean Merhdad? I think she just likes how his name is the Geordie pronunciation of 'murdered'

Got to hope the owners have enough grief from opposing fans and think "f*ck it its not worth it" and walk away.

Could happen somewhere down the line. If most of the point is sportswashing and people never buy it then why waste money.

That's perfect because the Mags are bound to disgrace themselves.

They rioted and punched a horse because they lost a game of football ...

... who knows what they're capable of if this van appears.

As noted elsewhere, surely the Rueben Bros could have bought the club outright. Without the need for Waxwork Staveley...

The following season Cocu got the exact same league finish (with same goals scored and conceded) without Mount, Tomori and Harry Wilson. A mate of mine supports Derby and didn't rate him that highly. He did an ok job at Chelsea but were it not for catastrophic Leicester collapses in both seasons we wouldn't have finished in the CL spots either season he was in charge.

If I were Newcastle I'd go for Rodgers or Potter then Gerrard as a 3rd option. Lampard will definitely improve them but I don't think he can take them to where they want to be.

I think it would be quite funny if the scum beat sours and the new owners said "hey we don't need to spend **** all. Great squad and manager"

I've seen a few posts of that ilk lately, @marcusblackcat made me laugh with his hatred of Liverpool. :D
I was a Liverpool fan growing up in the North West during the 70's.
Well, everyone here was LFC or Man United.
Lfc was nearer and I had some family there, as well as Bob Paisley.
I wasn't a big football fan. I just picked LFC to be one or the other.
Then I got into football a bit more.
I realised that LFC didn't ring true for me, and whilst they were the top side, I did switch sides and had to choose from the heart.

It was a choice between us or the mags but there could only be one for me,
I chose Sunderland and never regretted it.
My family are from South Shields but I was made up to find out via Ancestry.com my great great granda was from Sunderland.

So I jumped ship From a top team to a struggin one. But I came home ;)

I can remember being called Tudor after the crisps and getting renditions of "who shall have a fishy on a little dishy, when the boot comes in" <laugh>
